Not every ball valve order is a standard supply. Some projects require specific materials, connection types, cleaning procedures and control accessories to meet the customer's requirements.
For a customer in the chemical industry, SLVCN supplied a batch of DN50 pneumatic ball valves for SF₆ (sulfur hexafluoride) gas service. The order specified oil-free treatment, three-piece stainless steel valve construction and pneumatic actuation with the required accessories.
The valves feature CF8 stainless steel bodies, socket-weld ends and single-acting, normally closed pneumatic actuators. Each assembly is equipped with a 3/2-way single-coil solenoid valve and an air filter regulator.

The three-piece construction, socket-weld connections and CF8 stainless steel bodies were specified for this order. For buyers sourcing stainless steel pneumatic ball valves, these details should be confirmed alongside the piping requirements and actual operating conditions.
The single-acting, normally closed actuators provide the specified on/off operating arrangement. When configured for normally closed operation, the spring-return actuators are intended to close the valves when the air supply is lost. The solenoid valves control the air supply, while the air filter regulators help filter and regulate the compressed air supplied to the actuators.
Oil-free treatment was another specific requirement for this order. For similar applications, buyers should clarify which components require cleaning and whether the project specifies residual-oil limits or particular cleanliness acceptance criteria. These details should be agreed upon before production rather than assumed from the term “oil-free” alone.
The supplied solenoid valves are non-explosion-proof. If the installation is in a classified hazardous area, their suitability must be checked against the site's area classification and applicable project requirements.
The 1000 WOG designation should also be assessed alongside the actual operating pressure, temperature and required gas leakage performance before the valves are approved for service.
With over 20 years of valve manufacturing and export experience, SLVCN has supplied industrial valves to customers in more than 100 countries and regions.
Our product range includes ball valves, butterfly valves, gate valves, globe valves, check valves and automated valve assemblies. These products serve a wide range of industries, including water treatment, oil and gas, chemical processing, petrochemicals, power generation, pulp and paper, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, marine and offshore, and new energy.
From standard industrial valves to customized configurations involving materials, pressure ratings, end connections, pneumatic or electric actuation, and special cleaning requirements, we work with customers to identify suitable solutions based on their project specifications.
