SLVCN worm gear operated triple offset wafer butterfly valve is built for high-temperature, high-pressure, and severe service applications where soft-seated valves cannot survive. The triple offset metal-to-metal sealing delivers bi-directional zero leakage and eliminates friction between disc and seat – extending valve life even under frequent cycling.
Triple offset design – zero leakage, no rubbing
Unlike conventional butterfly valves, the triple offset geometry creates a cam-like motion that engages the seat only at the final closure point. This eliminates wear and galling, ensuring reliable performance in steam, thermal oil, high-temperature gas, and other severe media.
Worm gear operator – self-locking, precise, low effort
Smooth 90° quarter-turn operation with built-in self-locking – no need for a holding device or brake. Ideal for larger sizes and applications requiring stable manual control. Even in hard-to-reach installations, one operator can safely position the valve.
Wafer type design – compact and cost-saving
The wafer body fits directly between ANSI, DIN, or JIS flanges, requiring fewer bolts and less space than lug or flanged designs. Reduces installation cost and weight while maintaining robust performance.
Hard-faced metal sealing for high temperature & abrasion
Body options: carbon steel (WCB), stainless steel (CF8/CF8M/CF3M), or alloy steel (WC6/WC9). Hard-faced sealing surfaces (Stellite or graphite composite) withstand temperatures from -29°C up to +500°C or higher, resisting steam erosion, thermal oil coking, and abrasive particles.
ISO 5211 mounting pad – ready for automation
Designed as standard. Upgrade to electric or pneumatic actuator anytime – no valve replacement, no piping modification.
100% factory tested and certified
Each valve undergoes individual pressure and seat leakage testing before shipment. MTC, Certificate of Origin, and ISO9001 certification available. OEM service offered for custom markings, gear color, or special materials.
